Why am I baking, making videos, and posting recipes?
I was a full-time student at a university and worked full-time at a bank at the exact same time for three years. Quite difficult, really, and not my favorite thing. But, I managed, and I made everything work: I graduated Magna Cum Laude, and I got a promotion at work two months later. When I am not at work, I like to read silly fanfictions (Fanfiction.net is the best place), read paper copies of books (I like how they smell), exercise at the gym, catch up on sleep, and make handmade greeting cards.
The entire purpose of this site is to allow others to read and vicariously experience the baking/cooking excitement (and everything else I like to do) without getting their kitchen dirty or their fingers covered in grease/sugar. I love reading a good cookbook, especially when there are pictures involved. Pictures can't help but inspire someone to believe that they, too, can make the perfect pastry cream.
If you have any recipes you think I should try (and the ingredients are not too extravagant), send me a message and give the recipe to me. Please tell me which book it came from so I can cite it properly...
