Resources
My primary source for baking has been a single cookbook:
General Mills. Betty Crocker's Cookbook. New York: Golden Press, 1969. 86-149. Print.
However, I did get my Banana Licuado recipe from the newspaper. Here it is:
Danze, Tina. "Bargain Milk: Recipes that milk the most out of dairy deals." The Dallas Morning News 6 Oct. 2010: 1E+. Print
I'd also like to discuss other resources for baking. These are some awesome websites:
Emeril's: A wonderful website with so many recipes and categories for the recipes, I think I might die and go to heaven. Using this might be easier than storing a 1/2 pound book, too.
Whole Foods: This is one of my favorite pricey grocery stores to shop at. They have a recipe section, and some of the recipe options include vegan, dairy free, etc. So socially conscious, and not in a snobby way, either. Maybe I will be rich soon and get to shop there more often.
Betty Crocker: Well, look who has her own website. My favorite cookbook is apparently online. But I will lovingly clutch to my duct-taped copy and reference the online version only when mine is misplaced or doesn't have a recipe I need.
Super Duper Blog: I admire this lovely blog because it has lovely design features, and she has almost an exactly similar recipe for a banana drink! And she seems to experiment with food, though I think she has more success than I do.
